Terms & Conditions (Australia)

1. About these Terms 

These Terms & Conditions (Terms) govern your access to and use of the Db Journey Australia website and online store (the Site) and your purchase of products from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply to purchases made from our Australian Site. Local variations may apply on our New Zealand and South Africa sites. 

2. Eligibility 

This site is intended for Australian residents only. If you are living in another country, please select your country from the top navigation option.

3. Orders & acceptance 

3.1 After you place an order, you’ll receive an email acknowledging receipt. This is not acceptance. 

3.2 Your order is accepted when we dispatch your items and send an Order Confirmation. We may reject or cancel an order (with a full refund) if, for example, an item is unavailable, there is an error in price or description, or we suspect the order involves resale or fraud. 

3.3 Please review your Order Confirmation promptly and contact us if anything is incorrect. 

4. Pricing, GST & currency 

4.1 Prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. 

4.2 We take care to ensure prices and information are accurate, but errors can occur. If a price or product description is clearly incorrect, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. 

5. Payment 

5.1 We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Your payment is processed by our trusted payment service providers. We don’t store full card numbers. 

5.2 Orders may be subject to verification and fraud checks. If payment is declined, the order will not be fulfilled. 

6. Shipping & delivery 

6.1 We ship to Australian addresses using the delivery options shown at checkout. Estimated dispatch and delivery timeframes are guidance only. 

6.2 Delivery is to the address you provide at checkout. You are responsible for ensuring it’s correct. Once your order ships, we’ll email tracking details where available. 

6.3 Risk & title: Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to your address (or collection point, if selected). Title passes once we receive full payment. 

7. Change‑of‑mind returns (online orders) 

7.1 If you change your mind, you can return eligible items within 30 days of delivery for a refund (excluding original shipping fees). 

7.2 Returned items must be unused, in saleable condition, with original tags/packaging. Sets must be returned complete. Some items (e.g., final‑sale items) may be excluded where stated at purchase. 

7.3 To lodge a return, follow the instructions on our Returns page or contact help@dbjourney.com.au. Keep your postage receipt until your refund is processed. Refunds are made to the original payment method once your return is received and inspected. 

7.4 We don’t offer direct exchanges. For a different size or colour, please place a new order. 

8. Faulty goods & Australian Consumer Law 

8.1 Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. 

8.2 If you believe an item is faulty or not as described, please contact help@dbjourney.com.au with your order number, a description and photos. We’ll assess the item and arrange a remedy under the ACL. Any manufacturer warranty that applies is in addition to your rights under the ACL. 

9. Promotions, vouchers & gift cards 

9.1 Promotions and discount codes are single‑use per order unless stated otherwise, can’t be combined, and don’t apply to shipping or gift cards unless stated. Minimum spend, product or date exclusions may apply. 

9.2 Gift cards are issued in AUD, non‑refundable, not redeemable for cash (except as required by law) and valid for the period stated at purchase.

10. User accounts 

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. 

11. Intellectual property 

All content on the Site (including images, graphics, text, logos and trademarks) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not use, copy or distribute Site content without permission, except for personal, non‑commercial use as permitted by law.

12. Liability 

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the ACL or our liability for matters that can’t be excluded by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all other warranties and limit our liability for non‑excludable claims to: (a) replacing or resupplying the goods; or (b) refunding the amount paid. 

13. Changes to the Site or these Terms 

We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site when you place your order applies to that order.

14. Governing law 

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW and the Commonwealth of Australia.
